2026 is our 5th year of travelling and no where has been so important to our progression as the Oliva Nova Beach Resort. It was the site of our first ever group trip and subsequently our most popular and visited destination.​The Costa Blanca region is a hive of cycling activity in December, with many of the worlds best cyclists descending on the region for their first winter team camps. It is not uncommon to find yourself in the middle of a world tour team as they rack up their winter miles and begin their preparation for the next season.​Whilst there are no guarantees - it is very possible that we will be sharing our hotel with a world tour team or two. This year the Oliva Nova Resort played host to Ineos Grenadiers and Visma LAB mens teams. It was a real privilege to be around these teams and we hope (though cannot guarantee they will be there) to have the same experience again.​When on this trip our rides vary between 85km and 110km each day with between 1200m and 2000m of climbing. We will ride at a steady pace and the focus is very much on accumulating miles rather than any efforts. We stop for a coffee and have a lunch stop nearer the end of the ride.​Guests are able to use the swimming facilities at the hotel and watch the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour which also takes place at the hotel. Finally, we can also organise use of the Padel Courts or a round of golf should that be of interest to the group.

PNE CC cycle trip to Portugal  17-22 March 2026

Fabulous holiday with great people. Everything organized perfectly. Support car from Sam was a great bonus for people who needed it. All cycling routes were great. Pick up and drop off at airport was exactly as described. All queries answered promptly. Would definitely use again.

Another fabulous trip and great to be looked after by Sam in the support car when mechanicals and injury hit out on the road. The Algarve was beautiful but some of the roads were a bit ropey. 

Great cafe at the top of Monchique and food out and about was top notch. Hotel was comfortable and the sauna great, but the service not quite up to the standards of the places we've stayed on previous trips (Majorca & Oliva). 

Looking forward to next year's adventure!

My first time abroad, trip was well organised and communication leading up to and on trip was excellent. 
Hotel room was large and clean  bike hire was perfect and onside on arrival,  look forward to next trip.

We couldn't book the sunny weather option, but cycled all the same in the wind and the rain, with stunning views and great climbs good times came. 
Sauna and ice baths - minimal sun, maximum laughs. 
Support and encouragement when punctures arrived, listening to the road race in the pick up car kept the positive mindset alive.  
Good route options both short and long ideal incase you have a dingdong. I'd come back for more cycling I'm sure it won't be long.  

My third trip with Sporta Bike +. Everything that was in Sam’s control went like clockwork. Always on hand to help. Hotel staff were a bit inefficient, would be my only complaint. Sam acted most professionally especially when the flight was cancelled. We all arrived home safely as did my bike. Thank you Sam, I throughly enjoyed this trip. Roll on Mallorca. 

My first dedicated cycling trip for several years and Sam from Sporta Bike Plus was an outstanding host. The routes provided, the bike mechanical support given and the calm, dependable manner he dealt with issues outside of his responsibility e.g. the weather conditions and cancelled return flight, are a real credit. I would definitely choose Sporta Bike Plus again and recommend them to others.

Fantastic trip, very well organised. The cycle routes were just right, the food and hotel were great. Oh and they even ordered great weather for us :)

Market Drayton CC - Costa Blanca 2026

Really well hosted holiday with a great provision of route distances / difficulties taking in the key scenery, climbs & cafe's the location has to offer. Supported in person on the bike, along with a car at way-stops for supplies.

Very well organised and supported by Sam & Jane. Location was perfect for challenging cycling and social apres cycling at the equestrian centre. Having buffet breakfast and dinner worked really well and meant we were well recovered and fuelled. Apartments were simple and just what we needed. Would definitely recommend.

I had a fantastic experience at the cycling camp in Oliva, Spain, organised by Sporta Bike Plus. Sam planned brilliant routes and, together with Jane, created a welcoming and professional atmosphere — the food was great, the accommodation was comfortable, and Jane’s support on the rides ensured everyone felt confident and well looked after, regardless of ability. Throw in some cracking weather away from the dreary UK to make it a fantastic getaway. 

Way better than I was expecting...right from the start with the airport transfer, hotel facilities were great - my room had own bathroom, excellent breakfast and dinner. Bike was good, just needed some lube on the chain. Routes and support was spot on, Jane was a massive asset and brought something special to the week with her friendliness, warmth and patience.

Everything was amazing! The cycling was perfect - smooth roads, epic climbs,  beautiful views and friendly cafes. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and the food was delicious. Sam and Jane facilitated our group really well and kept us all coordinated! Thank you! 

Absolutely first class service as usual.  We sent our 16 year old daughter away on a cycling training camp organised by Sporta Bike Plus and she had an amazing time - seamless transfers, super positive atmosphere and really helpful ethos.  Very happy with their approach and how comfortable they make youth and junior cyclists & their parents! feel.

Accommodation, logistics and friendly staff made for a great travelling experience. 

Sports organised a fantastic cycling training camp for my daughter’s team.  Transfers were organised to suit her early arrival and departure times and we were delighted with the personal and professional approach.  She absolutely loved it and was able to train well as everything was taken care of.  Superb!

My daughter had a great team on her team training camp in Spain. The support from Sporta Bike was first class.

I had a great experience from start to finish in Calpe.
I had a great week with Cams Majeko, and gained valuable experience from all in involved.
Transfers were seamless.
The AR Diamanté was fabulous, all hotel staff were very accommodating food, rooms and facilities were impeccable.
